Jonathan Engh, Chairman of the Board of the Lee County Coalition for a Drug-Free Southwest Florida has announced that this year’s Drug House Odyssey Family Night will feature the presentation of the Hanley Foundation Prevention Superhero Award to State Attorney Amira Fox.

This event is planned for Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. at the Lee County Civic Center. All guests will be invited to tour Drug House Odyssey following the presentation.

Says Engh, “It is our privilege to honor State Attorney Amira Fox for the support that the Office of the State Attorney, Circuit 20 has shown for our mission of prevention Since 1989 when the Coalition was founded.  The Office of the State Attorney has been tireless in their efforts to keep our communities safe by prosecuting those who deal in the deadly drugs that are such a threat to our children.”

The Hanley Foundation has partnered with the Coalition in providing prevention to Lee County families, including parenting programs, both live and online, the Alcohol Literacy Challenge and the Teen Intervene Evidence Based Program.

The community is invited to attend this presentation, no reservations are required and it will be free of charge.
